Terms & Conditions

Rental Terms and Conditions:

All prices featured are per lodge (unless stated otherwise), based on the maximum occupancy of the accommodation and are subject to availability.

All prices shown are applicable at the time of booking, are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and are subject to change without prior notification. Please note the rates featured are 'FROM' rates and will vary due to seasonality and peak times of year.

A non refundable and non transferable payment is required at the time of booking.

General booking will have the following payments taken:

30% deposit is payable 8 weeks or more prior to arrival which is non refundable and non transferable.

100% deposit is payable inside 8 weeks prior to arrival which is non refundable and non transferable.

Promotional bookings will have full prepayment taken at the time of booking which is non refundable and non transferable.

Payment details

Payments made using a card will be subject to a transaction fee of £2.50.

Please note we do not accept American Express / AMEX cards.

Once a payment or deposit has been taken, this is non refundable and non transferable.

Included/excluded in the rental price


Self-catering accommodation for up to the maximum number of guests permitted in your lodge and VAT.

Cots & high chairs are available at our resorts at an additional cost, however these are limited and are subject to availability. Please contact resort services to reserve.

All bed linen and towels for the maximum number of guests in your lodge.

A small supply of cleaning supplies, e.g. dishwasher powder, washing up liquid, washing powder, will be provided in your lodge. Your lodge is fully serviced for your arrival. If you wish to have additional servicing during your stay this can be arranged for an additional charge. Please contact Resort Services prior to your arrival should you wish to arrange this.

Membership to the Leisure Club within the resort during your stay. Please note that some activities will incur additional charge, e.g. Health & Beauty treatments, snooker, equipment hire, outdoor activities. You will be supplied with towels at the Leisure Club.

Electricity and telephone use during your stay is metered and will be payable upon departure.


Total energy charge is made up by charging the total units consumed by a lodge or apartment. This is charged at two different rates depending on whether peak or off peak usage. These rates are set by the energy company that supplies the electricity. In addition there is a minimal daily standing charge from the power company and a daily shared charge.

30% deposit is payable 8 weeks or more prior to arrival.

100% deposit is payable inside 8 weeks prior to arrival.

If your booking is within 8 weeks both the deposit and outstanding amount will be taken.

The full price for each break is to be settled in full at time of booking by banker's card, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa. VAT is included at the current prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.

Packages


If you have booked a package the following terms and conditions apply

Food & Beverage discount
A Food & Beverage discount during your stay on production of your lodge registration card. The discount is applicable Sunday through to Thursday inclusive.

The discount is not applicable on Bank/Public Holidays, Christmas Day, New Years Eve or New Year’s Day.

The discount is limited to a maximum of 8 persons including children at any one time.

The discount is not available with any other promotion. The discount is only applicable to food and beverage sales and only valid when resident in a lodge.

The company reserves the right to amend change or withdraw the discount card benefit at any time The discount is applicable at time of purchase only and cannot be claimed retrospectively on check out.

Cancellation Policy

We do recommend that you obtain Holiday Insurance. Should you have to cancel your reservation. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

30% deposit is payable 8 weeks or more prior to arrival.

100% deposit is payable inside 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Cancellations / amendments by us

In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. If this does arise you can

1. Accept the changed arrangements as notified

2. Make an alternative arrangement with us or

3. Cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of any monies paid

Your booking

If making a reservation in a De Vere Resort, the contract for your stay is with De Vere Resort Ownership Ltd, Registered in England & Wales, Registered No: 3152528, Registered Office: 179 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5LS.

Special arrangements

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil your requests, unfortunately, we can not guarantee these and failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract.


Leisure club facilities

For full details of extra facilities offered, the charges and availability of these please contact the resort directly.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times when in the Leisure Club.

The following minimum ages apply in the Leisure Club:

Gym 16 years, Spa Pool 8 years and Snooker 16 years. THE CARRICK POOL IS 18 YEARS

It is also recommended that saunas and steam rooms are not suitable for children under the age of 14. Children's times may vary please check on booking.

Car parks

The resorts have their own car parks, free of charge. However, cars are left at the owner's/customer's own risk.

Payment processing information

Your IP address will be submitted along with your transaction when you book online.

Check-in / Check-out

On the day of arrival your lodge will available to occupy from 4.00pm. However should you arrive early then you can make use of the facilities within the resort. On the day of departure we ask that you vacate your lodge no later than 10.00am.

Belton Woods - Hotel Reception

Cameron House - Monday to Thursday 9am-6pm and Friday to Sunday 8.30am-8pm (these are office opening hours. Check-in is from 4pm).
Resort Services Reception is on the left as you enter the Estate. After these hours make your way to the main Hotel Reception.

The Carrick - Check in at Cameron House Lodge Services.

Slaley Hall - Hotel Reception

Similar to most hotels De Vere’s policy requires all guests to provide credit card details on arrival. We will require to pre-authorise £200, which secures this amount but does not remove funds from your account.

On the day of departure we ask that you vacate your lodge no later than 10.00am. It is particularly important for this time to be observed in order for Housekeeping to prepare the lodge for the next residents. Please note that late departure will incur a charge of £50 per hour, which will be charged to your credit/debit card. On departure, failure to return lodge keys issued at check-in will incur a charge of £35.00 per key to your credit/debit card.

General

As the named resident you are held responsible for ensuring that you do not exceed the occupancy limit of the lodge which you are occupying. This will vary depending on the size of your lodge and available beds; secondly this is a breach of your terms and conditions with De Vere Seasonal Ownership.

Persons making the reservation must be over the age of 21.

Guests are expected to use lodges with care and will be liable for any loss or damage to a lodge or contents regardless of whether this damage is the result of negligence or of acts committed by themselves or by other guests.

Guests will be expected to pay for any unreasonable breakages, damage or additional cleaning.

The Company reserve the right to carry out inventory and other checks prior to your departure.

The Company reserve the right to seek compensation for any damage discovered at a later date.

All rental reservations are subject to availability and we reserve the right to reallocate accommodation arrangements as necessary.

No lodge shall be used for any illegal or immoral purpose or for any trade or business.

No inflammable or explosive material should be stored or placed in or close to any lodge.

No BBQ’s allowed on any of our resorts.

Only the curtains and blinds in each lodge shall be used to cover or obstruct the windows of the lodge.

Home entertainment equipment, musical instruments and similar equipment must be used in a way as to cause no annoyance or disturbance to any other member or occupancy. In particular the volume of all equipment should be controlled so as not to be audible outside any lodge between 10.00pm and 9.00am.

Cars must be parked only in designated parking areas for the appropriate lodge or any other building.

No pets or animals are permitted in the lodge/apartment with the exception of dogs for the disabled.

Golf Buggies (Slaley Hall and Belton Woods only)
When staying in a lodge a golf buggy will be available for hire at a charge of £75 for the duration of your stay and is strictly for use within the confines of the Estate. Please contact Resort Services during your stay should you wish to arrange this.

Additional buggies are available for hire from our Golf Shop for golf only.

All buggy drivers must have a valid driving licence in their possession.

All buggy drivers must sign a “Disclaimer Form” and “Hand Over Sheet” prior to using the buggy.

All buggy drivers must 17 or over.
